How to get to Don Diego River

Don Diego is located at kilometer 56 via Santa Marta - Palomino, on the Troncal del Caribe. You can arrive by your own car for which we have parking. We can also organize private transportation for you and the price will depend on the number of people and your location.

Another option is to arrive by the local public bus which leaves from Santa Marta every 20 minutes throughout the day and leaves you at the entrance to the town of Don Diego where one of our guides will be waiting for you on the road ready to receive you.

The local bus is from the Cootransoriente company and you can take it at the Santa Marta Market or at the Buenavista Mall. If you are staying in the Tayrona, Buritaca, Guachaca, Palomino area, you can take the bus on the main road.
